Cookie policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
Short version: we set no marketing or analytics cookies, and there is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. Any cookies present come from our security provider or from a third-party site after you click an external link.
What we store in your browser
- No tracking cookies. We do not run advertising, analytics or personalisation cookies.
- No local storage of your answers. Quiz answers are marked in memory while the page is open. Close the page and they are gone — nothing is saved and nothing is sent to us.
- No account cookies, because there are no accounts.
Cookies set by others
| Source | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare (security and delivery) | Distinguishes real visitors from automated traffic and protects the site from abuse | Strictly functional |
| GitHub Pages (hosting) | Serves the pages; does not set cookies for visitors | None |
| Retailer or resource you click through to | Set by that site once you arrive — for example an affiliate programme or book retailer | Third-party |
How to control cookies
Every browser lets you block third-party cookies and delete cookies already stored. Doing so will not affect the activities at all — they work with cookies switched off:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → Block.
- Safari (iOS and macOS): Settings → Safari / Privacy → Block all cookies.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection → Strict.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Block third-party cookies.
Do Not Track and similar signals
Because we do not track you, there is nothing for a “Do Not Track” signal to switch off. It is respected by default here.
Changes
If we ever add analytics or a newsletter, this page and our privacy policy will be updated before anything is switched on, and any non-essential cookie will be opt-in.
